Many churches have already received items donated from our ongoing Sandy Relief Project.
Below we see representatives from three churches in Newark. Another five churches came earlier in the week and two more are scheduled for Tuesday morning.
Feel free to go to www.gateway.org to give via Pay Pal.
Every penny goes to supplies given directly to people affected by Hurricane Sandy.

Gateway
is still accepting financial help via PayPal for diapers, blankets and
baby food for Hurricane Sandy victims in Plainfield, Irvington and
Newark. Go to www.gateway.org for more info and one-click giving!
Many thanks to John and Roger (pictured to right of Dean) from
Valdosta, Georgia. They traveled 982 miles over 16 hours to deliver a cargo van of
blankets, clothing etc for this effort! Greater Life Newark helped
unload the items and many are already on their way to needy families.
All funds will be spent on only those baby items mentioned on our site
and are fully tax deductible. help as the Lord leads you. Thanks to Al's
Prime Meats and Deli (Garwood) for providing us supper!!
BTW.. the hurricane demolished the facing of our large electric sign in Irvington. For 21 years it has lit the way for women to get to Gateway. If you or someone you know can help with the $1,000-$1,500 repair cost, it would be a real blessing!

Gateway Pregnancy Centers
Sandy Relief Project needs your help
Hurricane Sandy has not only devastated many parts of southern New Jersey, but it has affected many families in the Irvington, Newark and Plainfield areas.
Two weeks after the storm, many are still without electricity or heat. Gas is scarce and expensive. Many have little food and clothing. Churches are doing their part.
At Gateway, we have been challenged to help those families who have specific baby needs (diapers, wipes, formula, baby food and blankets (both for the babies and their parents).
By helping through the Gateway Sandy Relief Project funds may be freed up for food, clothing or other urgent needs. Some families, to be sure, have no funds.
These families can not wait until Thanksgiving or Christmas for help. Many are without power. Children are cold and hungry.
These baby provisions will be a real blessing as well as an opportunity to bring the gospel.. and isn't this what Gateway is all about?
If you or folks you know can help with any of these items, either email us (dean@gateway.org) or call us (973)399-8378.
The fastest way to help is to donate online at our site: www.gateway.org
All funds received will be used to purchase in bulk, the baby items named above.
Gateway will provide the items to a network of local churches who will personally give them to families. They, of course, will also provide the gospel (as we do) to those receiving the items.
What a great way to be the “boots on the ground” during this window of opportunity.
Can we count on you?
