Here's the latest on that missing teen recovered this past week. Please pray for Lindsey and her parents. They are believers and this is a difficult time for them.

Lindsey removed from her home by authorities

CASSOPOLIS (NEWS 3) - With a harrowing three-week ordeal behind them, the family of Lindsey Ryan says it's time to heal.

The 14-year-old Cass County girl was at the center of a nationwide search for more than three weeks. Police say she was traveling with convicted killer 56-year-old Terry Drake.

The two were found Monday in California. On Tuesday, Lindsey and her mother flew back home.

The girl's parents met with reporters Thursday in Cassopolis. They took no questions, saying they won't answer them until after Drake's trial - if there is one.

Carol Ryan thanked all those involved in helping bring her daughter back home. The girl's father, Patrick Ryan, said many challenges remain ahead. "Right now there is healing," he said. "There is healing for Lindsey. There is healing for our family. There is healing for our church. Those things are in front."
Drake has been indicted for transporting a minor across state lines with intent to have sex and faces 15 years in prison. He will be extradited back to Michigan.

SACRAMENTO (NEWS 3) - Alleged kidnapper Terry Drake is heading back to Michigan to face charges after three weeks on the run.

Escorted by FBI agents, Drake arrived in Sacramento Wednesday wearing handcuffs and a prison jumpsuit. He's been indicted for transporting a minor across state lines with intent to have sex and faces 15 years in prison.

The 56-year-old sparked an Amber Alert when he disappeared with Cass County teen Lindsey Ryan. Authorities say Drake will not fight extradition.

For those of you who've been praying for the safe recovery of Lindsey Ryan, here is a brief portion of stories from a local Michigan TV station and USA Today:

Lindsey Ryan, the 14-year-old missing girl from Jones, Michigan, has been found. Ryan and her alleged abductor, 56-year-old Terry Drake, were arrested without incident today northwest of Reno, Nevada according to the California Highway Patrol.
"It is a horrible situation that has a happy ending. You are looking at some very happy parents today," said the girl's father, Patrick Ryan. The teenager left her house in Jones, Mich. -- a small town near the Indiana state line -- on March 1 to meet Terry Drake, whom police say she met at church and had corresponded with by e-mail. The pair had also been featured recently on the "America's Most Wanted" television program. Drake and his wife, Darlene, were living about 20 miles from the Ryans when they met the family at First Assembly Church in Goshen, Ind. Terry Drake told the Ryans he was a born-again Christian with a notorious past, and that his faith had helped him leave it behind.

Please continue pray for this little girl and her parents now that she is home. Click below for links to this story in the media, recently posted on our website
