Jason Mahmoud Ibrahim, 29, passed away in Altoona, Pa., on Feb. 26, 2010, due to an undetected heart defect from birth. His funeral was held in Altoona, Pa., on March 3, 2010, at Calvary Baptist Church. There will be a memorial service to celebrate Jason's life at Long Hill Chapel, Chatham, on April 10, 2010, at 11 a.m.

Family, friends and neighbors are welcome to attend the service. There will be a luncheon imm ediately following the service. Jason was a graduate of Chatham High School with the Class of 1999 and of Grove City College in 2003.

He worked as a senior web developer at Link Computer and was also a newly elected member of the City Council in Altoona, Pa. Jason was a devoted husband to Elizabeth (Henry) Ibrahim and a loving father to their three children.

He was the beloved son of Mahmoud and Mary Ann (Hammer) Ibrahim and loving brother of Noelle (Ibrahim) Witthohn.
