Baby Heike, born April 30th. has been diagnosed
with congenital hypothroidism

This could have led to mental retardation if she hadn't been tested at birth.

She is now on daily medication she will take for the rest of her life.

Heike Guiterrez was born at 2:00pm yesterday.

Her mom, Kim has been featured in our Blog and newsletters and many have helped her and two daughters. Now, there's another girl added to the family!
